Sitting on the sofa while holding a piece of delicious and succulent rib pieces in between her fingers while the sweet and tangy sauce dripped down her fingers, Li Feiyun seemed busy with her own thoughts since she didn't even wipe out toe drop of sauce that had already reached her wrist and was slowly finding its way down.
'Did he really carry me?'
That was the only thought in her mind as she imagined who she would look like when in the arms of the person who had saved her not long ago.
She was unconscious and so it was not clear to her how she was picked by him.
But then she shook her head.
'Aiya, how dumb am I, I could see his face when I woke up, so he should be carrying me like a sleeping princess.'
Thinking of that her cheeks flushed even more.
Although she had tried to be in a relationship before, due to CERTAIN reasons, she didn't want to have any intimate touch with that man and after a while, she understood that it was nothing but her instinct that only saved her after a while when she understood why he was after her.
Nonetheless, this was the first time that she would have been touched so closely by any man in this decade or so.
She could feel the area on her lower back and behind her knees heat up as she thought that these were the places on her body where he had touched.
Meanwhile, seeing their sister and aunt turn scarlet before them, Li Zhiyun and Han Xiaowen stared at each other with wry smiles on their faces.
Although Han Xiaowen could not really understand what her aunt was thinking, but that was not the same as her mother who clearly knew what kind of thoughts were going on in her younger sister's mind.
'I just hope that by the time she gets to know of those things she would not be heartbroken enough to not be able to love anyone else all her life.'
"Aunt!"
Noticing that the sauce was about to drip onto her trousers, Han Xiaowen had no other choice but to call her now.
"Huh?"
Li Feiyun looked at her in confusion.
"Your pants will get stained."
Han Xiaowen quickly pointed at the thick drop of sauce that was about to fall with a forced smile on her face.
"Ahh."
Taking a tissue, Li Feiyun quickly wiped the drop before putting the meat piece into her mouth.
"Haih, as tasty as always."
"Hmm."
Li Zhiyun nodded but didn't say anything.
She didn't want the small dream that her sister was having and making her so much cheerful to be broken just now even though she knew that sooner or later she would get to know of this and it would hurt her.
"Okay, you two, don't waste time, it has already turned quiet now, some more minutes and it will feel too greasy to even eat."
Li Zhiyun snapped at the two of them.

Meanwhile, in one of the offices of the Han Corporation Tower.
"SMACKKK"
A middle-aged man slapped his hand on the table with great strength enough to shatter a normal glass table.
But it was a toughened high-grade glass and thus didn't break into pieces.
"FUCK!"
The man cursed spittle flying from his mouth.
"You say me that nothing worked, those guys themselves got into a coma after inhaling the spray?"
The man repeated the words of the guard who stood before his desk with his head lowered.
The man wearing a guard uniform similar to the others from the Han Corporation stuttered due to obvious fear.
"Ye... yes sir, the chief said that they found Miss Ji in a few moments as soon as she was kidnapped."
He didn't dare to raise his head and look into the eyes of the person who had just yelled and scowled at him.
How could he even think of doing that, he was one of the board members with the third place with the highest shares under his name.
Han Lao.
"Sir, I confirmed, those men that were hired by us were a complete nuisance, rather than doing anything successfully, they themselves have suffered for all their life."
The secretary said while adjusting her glasses on her nose.
"Damit!"
Han Lao cursed, but after a moment his eyes widened as he turned to the guard.
"Did they tell anything about who was behind them?"
Now that it had come to this, he was worried that those guys might have spilt his name.
Although the person who really HIRED them was not him, but rather someone else, he was clear that if Li Zhiyun wanted to get to the depth of this then she would do anything.
According to him, that woman was just crazy.
"No sir, they were found unconscious by the time they reacted there. And..."
The guard said but then staggered as if he was still thinking whether he should even say this or not.
"And what?"
Han Lao frowned.
"And the chief said that there was a person who had taken care of those kidnappers and also broke the conspiracy for kidnaping Miss Li."
Han Lao's face turned ashen as if he had been forced to eat some kind of disgusting thing.
"And when were you going to tell me about this?"
He narrowed his eyes almost bursting his throat out.
This was so much important, there was someone who was responsible for smashing his whole plan down, and definitely could not help it go this so easily.
The reason why he wanted to kidnap Li Feiyun was not something that was related to Han Industries but more of a request that he had received just a few days ago from his son.
"Sir...I"
The guard gulped with beads of sweat rolling down from the tip of his nose.
"So you are saying that before they could hide Miss Li, someone else found them and then trashed them?"
The secretary asked narrowing her eyes.
