Done correctly, it can even neutralise tier5 attacks with minimal effort.

Max read the description of all his rewards as he nodded in satisfaction.
Angakok did him a solid favour on this one as only by having a perfect evaluation did the system give him the option to choose his class specific skills.
At an A grade evaluation he was not eligible for a single class specific skill, at an S grade evaluation he got a single class specific skill without any option, at SS evaluation he got 2 class specific skills without any options, but only at SSS rating did he have the ability to choose his class specific skills.
Although the price of this skill choice was massive, it was worth it in Max's eyes now that he saw the options.
Apart from the skill choices, Max was also very impressed by the tier up rewards as his agility and mana stat gained a huge improvement.
Max could feel the qualitative change in his body as it felt lighter and better, if he were to compare how he felt now compared to a few minutes ago, it would feel like he was on drugs before, his senses numb and his reactions slow, but he had truly awoken now, aware of his every cell and muscle.

" Where is Max? All he left was a letter, but he's gone for over 3 days now….. " Asiva asked Sebastian, hoping he would have some answers
" I have no idea either, it's unlike him to leave in such a haste, do you think the letter left behind is fake? " Sebastian wondered, as the situation he feared the most was that Max was in some trouble but they were waiting like dumb fucks.
" No- the letter was definitely written by him, I know his handwriting, also he writes ' You ' as ' U ' , an annoying habit he picked up on Earth " Asiva said as she reassured Sebastian that he was definitely not lost.
" The troops are beginning to notice his absence, I've been asked 12 times today where captain Ravan might be, for now I've handled the situation but if this goes on for too long we will have trouble" Sebastian said as he informed Asiva about the suspicions arising within the troops.
" 1 day- we wait one more day before starting a search mission, hopefully it doesn't come to that " Asiva said, finally giving her verdict
" May the cowardice be with you- Amen " Sebastian replied as he prayed to his master Kremeth to keep Max safe.
